AIX LPAR Implementation & Mngmt

Clear Technologies’ AIX LPAR Implementation & Management services are designed to facilitate a quick and effective installation of virtual servers, or logical partitions (LPARs), on your new or existing AIX server(s).  Our certified technical specialists provide onsite assistance with the following activities:

• Conduct a planning session to discuss current hardware and software configurations and requirements
• Run the LPAR validation tool to determine the recommended type of implementation
• Install and configure the LPARs, including:

→ Configuration of the hardware management console
→ LPAR creation
→ Installation of the IBM AIX® 5L™ or supported Linux® operating system
→ Basic network configuration for each LPAR
→ Testing and verification of the LPARs
→ Image backups of the LPARs
→ Document installation and configuration activities
→ Provide skills transfer to your staff for routine operational activities.

This service is available for all IBM Power processor-based AIX servers.
